
Okey Isima, a former Green Eagles of Nigeria defender, and Rangers International FC of Enugu is dead. The ex-footballer who later became an engineer after his football career died in Abuja yesterday Monday February 18th after a brief illness.
He was a member of the Eagles team that won the 1980 Africa Cup of Nations in Lagos, he also played at the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.
He is survived by his wife and four children.
He was 56.
